Who am I? A male, boy, man,

doing what I can.

Push a little harder just for “The Man.”

A son doing what suns do, shining bright,

then turning Infantry Blue, marching for me and you.

Hooray I donned my green beret.

Living a soldiers life, once young and strong,

working before dusk and way past dawn!

A brother, for good and bad,

blood is thicker than a marriage I once had.

A Father of two girls, growing like weeds,

CHIRP< CHIRP< feed me please.

Always a student, learning more,

Will I ever be done whispered Lenore.

Study, Studying, Studying some more.

Who am I? I think I know…

Thank God!!

I am not six feet below.
